Born and raised in the Southwest, I have always had a strong connection to the landscapes surrounding me and the spiritual connection I feel towards the land. Growing up athletic, I have always enjoyed using my body to move and connect; exploring hiking, swimming, bicycling, and basically anything outside.
I have been practicing yoga on and off since 2006, but decided to turn my interest into a full-time passion when I came to a studio practice in2014, and I was hooked.
I love yoga for its inherent nature of connecting the mind, body, and soul through the vehicles of breath and movement. I believe in the power yoga has to heal and transform people internally.
I was trained to teach yoga in 2015 and I am 200 hour certified through Yoga Alliance. If you come to my class you will almost always find yourself working on breath, strengthening, flexibility, and overall mix of movement and internal connection.
