We offer mostly heated classes here at Hot Box Yoga. We find that a heated room warms the body and allows for deeper relaxation, greater flexibility, and increased detoxification/cleansing. We also really like to sweat. Due to the dry desert environment we also add humidity to our classes. Hot yoga is really for people who want a more intense workout. Working in the heat helps the body relax, improves breathing (which helps conditions like asthma) and focuses the mind, which develops better mental concentration.
