The best thing about yoga is that it is not just a physical practice. While that is, of course, initially why I took my first step into a studio, I quickly became aware that the practice is much more than just a work out. It mirrors life with its ups and downs (literally) while simultaneously teaching the self lessons of moderation, determination, steadfastness, patience and gratitude. I have practiced yoga since 2008 and started teaching 2012. I try to teach a challenging and rigorous class while incorporating softness and elasticity. Hope to see you on the mat!
